Franklin On Ice was better than
ever this year, with many of the
two dozen sculptures lit up at

the wide variety of movie, theater
and dj lights for the event.

Maggie Bernecky joined ORPIT (Oil
Region Paranormal Investigative
Team) at the historic Latonia Theatre
on Oil City's South Side. A range of
paranormal activity at the elegant
venue brought the ORPIT team for
their third study of the enormous
structure, this time on Halloween.
Louis Chevrolet (above), often raced with CJS Miller
(right), the first-born son of General Charles Miller of
Franklin. The story of the flamboyent and wealthy
young man, Charles Joseph Sibley Miller, has been
largely hidden until now, and has come to light
thanks to the research of George Stroupe. The 1898
home of General Miller (below) has been the Miller
Park Apartments for many years.
