Youngsters Declan (from left), Northern and
Meadow learn stained glass creation from
Joe Gerzina (right, and above), one of many
artists sharing their talents along the street
and in the many Transit Building art studios.
Photographer Mike Henderson's 3-D Art
was a popular stop on Seneca St.
Saturday. In order to truly appreciate his
creations, 3-D glasses were needed to
fully take in the effects of the photos.
The band Newmen performs on the Seneca St. stage Saturday afternoon.
Erin Wincek
teaches pottery to
Noah outside of
the National
Transit Building in
Oil City, where a
large space is
being developed
for a pottery
studio for the
community. Funds
and volunteers are
still needed for
completion of  this
project, which is
being done in
association with
the Oil City Arts
Council..
Inside the National Transit the two dozen artist studios held an
Open House in association with the Seneca Street Festival. The
antique elevator (below) still works most of  the time, and more
studios are being renovated throughout the Transit and the Annex.
The Oil Region Alliance recently moved out of  the fully renovated
fourth floor, freeing up more creative space in the Transit. Holly
Berlin (bottom, left) displays her original trading cards.
