| Franklin On Ice Brightens Dead Of Winter |

Fountain Park has been abuzz with shutterbugs and
gawkers, as five carvers with DiMartino Ice of
Illinois turned two dozen blocks of ice into creatures
and other fun things. The annual event is always a
popular attraction, especially when the weather
cooperates as perfectly as this time - blue skies, with
a high of 28 and low of 6 (at 6:30 a.m., when the
night pictures were taken - above and below).
