60's Teen sensation Davy Jones of "The
Monkees" entertained an appreciative
audience last weekend at the Barrow-Civic
Theatre. Davy proved that he's still got what
it takes to be a real crowd pleaser. The
personable performer regaled his fans with
tales from his glory days. He sang many of
his hits, including: Daydream Believer, A
Little Bit Me, Valerie, Girl (from his
appearance on "The Brady Bunch"), Another
Pleasant Valley Sunday and I'm a Believer,
to name a few.
Davy joked around with Judith
Supple Hadlock, the winner of the
Davy Jones Gift Package, a fan
who travelled from Tallmadge, OH
to see her idol.
Barrow board member Carol Brown
is in an enviable position (next to
Davy Jones!).
Rick Roberts was instrumental in getting Davy and his band to
and from the airport, literally playing chauffeur in his limousine.
Flower centerpieces at the meet and
greet were created by Celebration
Station of Franklin.
Davy and Jenn Fox make a nice couple!
Davy and his wife, Jennifer.
From the young . . .
. . .to the not so young,
Davy's got fans of all ages.

Gary Barton, Deb Krepps, Judy Braymer, Lisa Harry (and Davy Jones).
Other committee members include (to right of Davy) Diane Witherup, Pam Pixley,
Mary Anne Wilkinson and Stephen Teig.
Pam Pixley still can't believe she's
standing so close to Davy Jones.
New fan club member, Rob Hoover.
FCOA Board Chairman Stephen Teig
converses with Davy.
Rob Hoover gets a little crazy with his new friends
(and Davy's backup musicians).
